We’re happy to have another interview to share with Daniel Immich of Weingut Immich Anker, in the village of Enkirch on the Mosel in Germany. We talk about his current release of Sekt, an interesting bottle of his Eisbruch dry wines, and get introduced to little Maya. The Sekt and the Brut Nature Sekt are both from the 2013 vintage, and the Eisbruch is from 2016.

One Response to “Episode 352: Sekt And Eisbruch With Daniel Immich”

  1. Paul Cunningham Says:

That was a fun show, great to hear Daniel Immich talk about his wines.
His “sur lie” wine is definitely a winner, a bit of thinking out of the box in a way that really works. Also unlike most Mosel wineries he has chilled fermentation tanks that allow him to better manage the process and produce great results. Daniel blends tradition with some modern innovations that prove that it is not an either/or decision.
