As we finally get into summer here in Oregon, we’re happy to share a couple of Roses of Pinot Noir that Dan has enjoyed recently. We’re also happy to have gotten through our technical difficulties, and to be back online. This week, we taste the 2016 Rose from Domaine Douhin Oregon, and the 2016 Rose from Dion Vineyards.

Thank you for the shoutout. The DDO Rose is all estate fruit. For the first time we had dedicated Pinot we pressed. Pressing in the loose sense of the word. The clusters went into the press and came right back out, leaving juice behind. I say it every year, but this is my favorite vintage. We do have more for sale but we don’t distribute it, so either Internet, phone or personal visit. We’re not putting on the tasting flight this year, so you either have to ask for it or have it with a non published flight that also includes our Edition Limite
    Chard and Pinot.
July is our 30th anniversary so it’s a good time to be a member. The entire 4th generation will be here and we are doing some amazing dinners.
I was at the Cellar 503 event and it was very well done! Very impressed with the wineries as well as the organization. It was at Castaway event space.
